Alvin has spent nearly a decade writing, editing, and producing video across print, digital, and on-camera formats. His reporting, criticism, and product journalism have appeared in Velo, CyclingTips, Triathlete, and Pinkbike, spanning technical reviews, feature writing, and the Urbanist Update column on transportation policy and infrastructure.

He studied City Planning at the University of Utah, and that background shapes how he approaches a story — whether it’s a policy fight over a bike lane or a review of a piece of gear. He’s also spent time on camera and behind the scripting process for video production, from long-form reviews to short-form social content.
